Map: Easily overlooked but not to be underestimated; the usefulness of having a good old fashion map, it’s great to help guests plan their time in London and make sure they make the most out of their time. Our top tip is to leave a tube map for the guests so they can plan their journey before venturing off to the underground.
Oyster card: Oyster cards are great to leave for guests, as they can top them up and head out and explore all that London has to offer via bus, tube, river bus, you name it! Top tip: Oyster cards can be easily purchased from any station for a £5.00 (refundable) deposit.
House Manual: We found this is a must to leave for all guests; it is a great thoughtful gesture to leave for guests during their stay. It can not only help guests remember how to use the appliances in your house but it’s a fantastic way to also share your favourite local hotspots and help guests really explore your neighbourhood. Food: As far as thoughtful gestures go this is the ultimate one! Local chocolate, bread or biscuits the options are endless, be sure to share foods/snacks that are local to your neighbourhood. This really gives guests a welcome to the neighbourhood and their first taste of being a local (pun intended).
